Every aspect of Syndicate Lake has been developed with long term fish welfare and angler experience in mind. With carp now reaching 40lb, this is a venue where patience, skill, and thoughtful angling are rewarded.

Membership & Access
Syndicate Lake operates on a membership basis, and there is currently a waiting list held in our onsite tackle shop for those wishing to join.
Lakeside Pods
While the Syndicate Lake itself is exclusive, we also offer two lakeside pods available for public booking. The pods provide a peaceful 48 hour stay with direct access to the water, perfect for anglers wanting a taste of the specimen experience.

Westlands Carp Syndicate Rules
Season Tickets & Access
- Season tickets run from 1st April – 1st April
- Season ticket covers the syndicate lake only
- Parking in designated areas only - not on pegs or banks under any circumstances
- No movement of vehicles after dusk or before dawn
- Only one guest per season by prior arrangement (guest must be on the waiting list)
- Guest fee: £30 per person for 24 hours (maximum 48 hours)
- Guest: 2 rods, Member: 2 rods only
- Any person visiting a syndicate member must park in a designated area
- Pets must be kept under control and on pegs at all times
- No excess alcohol
- Strictly no fires
- Work parties: minimum 1 weekend per year
Conduct & Peg Use
- No litter - pegs must be left as found; if not, report it
- Fishing from designated pegs only
- Maximum of 3 rods per member
- No rods to be left unattended
- EA rules will be enforced
- Maximum 96 hours on any peg
Fish Care
- Klinik must be used at all times
- No sacking of fish under any circumstances
- 42" landing net minimum
- Euro‑size unhooking mat required
- Barbed hooks only
- No fixed leads
- No braided main line
- Minimum 10lb main line
- Nets must be clean and dry before use
Bait Rules
- Bait boats used with discretion
- No fish baits from a foreign source
- No artificial baits allowed
- Nuts only to be used as hook bait
- Particles must be properly prepared
- No meat baits allowed
General
- You may be inspected at any time
