Planning a trip to Westlands Lakes is simple. Whether you’re joining us for a peaceful few hours, a full day’s fishing, or a match event, this guide covers everything you need to know before you arrive. 

Fishing Times

6:00am to 9:00pm (summer time)

 7:00am to 4:00pm (winter time)

No fishing is allowed before dawn or after dusk at any time on our day‑ticket lakes.

Seasonal variations may apply 

Day Tickets & Bookings 

Day Tickets  - No need to book.

Match Bookings - Several lakes are available for club and open matches.

Advance booking is recommended.

Lakeside Pods

Our lakeside pods are situated right on the edge of the Syndicate Lake, offering guests a peaceful 48‑hour stay with uninterrupted views and direct access to the water. 

Each pod offers comfort, privacy, and the perfect base for targeting exceptional fish.  A specimen water with carp up to 40lb

Choosing Your Lake

Middle Lake – allrounder, pleasure & match 

Tench Lake – traditional coarse fishing with big tench, bream & specimen carp.

Little Tench Lake – mixed species, high match weights 

Canal Pond – tactical fishing, consistent weights 

Islands Lake – feature rich, match friendly 

Syndicate Lake – specimen water with carp to 40lb

What to Bring 

To ensure a smooth visit, please bring: 

Barbless hooks 

Dry landing nets 

Unhooking mat (required for specimen fish) 

Inline, free running leads/feeders 

Approved hook baits (fishery feed pellets only for feed) 

If you forget anything, our onsite tackle shop has you covered.
